As sure a thing as you can get in Hollywood. Producer Sean Daniel announced only days after the premiere of The Scorpion King that a sequel was developing and they hoped to have a trilogy of films made. There was also talk that while there would be hints to how the King went from hero to villain (where we first met him at the beginning of The Mummy Returns), all subsequent Scorpion films would remain true to the heroics of the first one. The Rock, for one, is definitely interested in the sequel. "If I have the opportunity to do a sequel, if they ask me, it would be my pleasure," he says.
