SCORPION KING to promote HELLDORADO on disc

It looks like THE SCORPION KING will be getting the same lavish special edition treatment when it comes to DVD this fall that its predecessors in the MUMMY universe did.
The disc of the Rock's first staring role, which will be released October 1, will have alternate versions of some scenes, an elaborate how-to shot-by-shot explanation of one of the key fight sequences, as well as commentary from director Chuck Russell and Rock. And deleted scenes. And more.
That more is Universal's plan to promote the Rock's new film, HELLDORADO, with special features on the KING disc including interviews, models for the film, as well as rehearsals.
