The director behind GANGS OF NEW YORK and GOODFELLAS is coming to The Sci-Fi Channel. Martin Scorsese will executive produce THE TWELVE, a six-hour (or more) science fiction mini-series that will be broadcast on the cable network sometime in 2005.
THE TWELVE follows one FBI agent's investigation into a perplexing and mysterious chain of of events which may be leading to the end of the world on the twelfth day of Christmas. Well, at least there won't be any long lines at the mall.
Other A-list directors also working on new Sci-Fi mini-series include Bryan Singer and Dean Devlin (THE TRIANGLE).
