Disney Studios and producer Jerry Bruckheimer are in negotiations with Tony Scott to direct the romantic thriller "Deja Vu."

The story centers on an FBI agent who travels back in time and falls in love with a woman doomed to be murdered.

The script is Terry Rossio and Bill Marsilii. Jerry Bruckheimer will produce. Tony Scott has worked with Bruckheimer before on such films as "Top Gun" and "Days of Thunder."

Plans are for the film to go into production in this summer or fall.
