Scott Foley On BELOW

Actor Scott Foley admits that he wasn't quite sure what to make of the film BELOW, in which he is part of the cast. While talking to SCIFI.COM, Foley spoke of the David Twohy helmed - Darren Aronofsky scripted production, revealing, "I think the fact that it's over my head is one thing, it's a really well-written movie. It's smart. I had to read the script a couple times before I truly caught what was happening."

Foley then addressed what the film seems to be about, saying, "It's about a World War II submarine in 1942, sort of psychological thriller. If I say a haunted submarine, it's simplifying it too much. It's about a submarine going back to go down with its captain, sort of a reversal of fortune there. You know how a captain always has to go down with the ship? In this case, the submarine is going down with the captain."

When pressed if the film does have the ghost of a previous commander of the film's sub, Foley spoke for the cast, saying, "We're not sure. That's the question. It's way over my head, guys."
