The cast for the 'Scott Pilgrim vs the World' movie appears to be just about complete.
Confirmed by The Hollywood reporter today are Brandon Routh ('Superman Returns') , Brie Larson ('Twilight') and the previously rumored Chris Evans ('Fantastic Four').
Lesser-known actrors Satya Bhabha, Mae Whitman, Ellen Wong, Anna Kendrick, Mark Webber, Alison Pill, Johnny Simmons and Aubrey Plaza are also on board.
The film, based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's graphic novel series, is set to be directed by Edgar Wright in Toronto. Michael Cera has long been signed to topline as the title character. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play his heart-throb, who he aims to win by battling her seve ex-boyfriends.
As reported by Ain't It Cool News, Evans will ex #2, play skate-punk/actor Lucas Lee. Routh is ex #3 Todd Ingram, a rocker with vegan psychic powers.
Larson plays Pilgrim's ex-girlfriend, Envy Adams, for whom he still has feelings.
Satya Bhabha is also on board as an ex who summons demon hipster girls.
Whitman will play ex #4, Roxy Richter, a half-ninja girl. Wong is Pilgrim's current girl, Knives Chau. Kendrick will appear as Pilgrim's sister.
Webber and Pill round out Pilgrim's rock band, play Simmons and Plaza play supporting roles.

Holy sweet mother of pearl, I thought the whole cast was killed in an explosion, jk. Good point though Jawbreak. Half-ninja to me sounds like one with no legs.
How is somebody half-ninja? It's not a race or anything. You either are or you're not. Sort of like being pregnant.
