Aaron Eckhart would jump at playing Dent again.

Though his character was killed at the end of 2008’s The Dark Knight, actor Aaron Eckhart expressed his willingness to portray Harvey Dent/Two Face again if the opportunity arose. “With characters like that, you never say no,” he stated to the collected press at the San Diego Comic Con.

“And I’m happy to work with Chris Nolan again if he asks. Anytime anywhere.”

The actor was on hand to promote his new science fiction movie Battle: LA, along with costar Michelle Rodrieguez and director Jonathan Liebesman. The film opens in March, 2011.

They could easily bring Two Face back, the way he died was the only thing that sucked about the Dark Knight.  They could say they committed him to Arkam, but kept it secret from everyone to keep Dent safe.  Easy peasy.

I've been sayin' Two-Face will be in Batman 3 since 2008.   Goyer/Nolan used some of the Batman/Gordon/Dent dynamic from The Long Halloween as a template for their TDK story.  Elements from TLH follow up, Dark Victory, would make a great 3rd film.  They could incorporate Two-Face as the main heavy, with Catwoman (Eva Green) runnin' around makin' everybody's dick hard,  and try to do his character justice after cuttin' his balls off in TDK. Makes more sense to me than tryin' to stick The Riddler into the mix.

NOT!

He's dead move on.

Yes they had a funeral for him, but why couldn't he just have been seriously injured and swept off a secret wing in Arkham where they could try to help him but keep his existence secret to protect him, like whitness protection. Half the guys in Arkham would want to pull him apart so he would have to be kept hush hush.I'm just saying it wouldn't be that hard to swallow.

They need to move on with a dark Riddler.

@madmanic999 That is actually how I look at the end of TDK. I really don't see the need to bring Harvey back but if they did, I wouldn't be surprised if that's how they did it. It annoys me when they kill off long time villains like they did to Joker in the Keaton Batman. I like the idea of Arkham being filled with theses lunatics who all hate Batman because he put them there... Hell just for a cameo of them in a cell is worth keeping them alive. But I digress. Lets see Riddler!

I don't really know if this is news worthy....you could have interviewed Mark Hammil and asked him if he would play Luke Skywalker again and get the same response.

Must not be a lot happening at the con this year.

They said Harvey Dent died a hero. They never said 2 Face was actually dead. After I saw the movie many times I never thought he died at the end.  The funeral was a political move in the attempt to keep the truth about what happened to Dent a secret.   The fall was not enough for him to die from it, Batman's armor could not stop him from experiencing the same impact effect on the body.  I think he survived, and just like how Batman was made to be the villain ( a lie), they also lied about 2 Face's death.
