Some fuzzy looking images of the new Jonah Hex banner have been captured by our SDCC people on the ground but who wants to see a blurry Megan Fox? Thankfully, just a day after recently moving the release date for the film, Warner Bros. Pictures has answered the call to officially reveal the new poster in higher quality via Yahoo Movies.

The comic adaptation stars Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Michael Shannon. Director Jimmy Hayward is leading production, based on a screenplay by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.

Plot Summary: Hex, known for having the right side of his face disfigured and wearing a Confederate army uniform, was a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter whose adventures always ended in blood.

Jonah Hex will hit theaters June 18, 2010.

Here's the new poster. Keep your eye on our SDCC Page for other cool movie posters, banners and an inside look at the convention.

Pretty cool, I can't believe of all the DC characters that Hex would get a movie before GL, Flash, or even Wonder Woman. I am not complaining I think he is cool, it is just odd.

I may be wrong but I don't remember his face being that scared up in the comic! He looks more like two face now!

Where's my damn edit button?

@kwsupes, Blade was the first for Marvel. Going with second tier or lower characters is less risky.

GL, Flash or the likes you want to make sure you don't screw it up which is probably why so much stop and go. With Hex, who cares. If it's good is gravy if it fails no biggie

Not to mention budget-wise, I would imaging Hex costs about $120M less than GL will...

imaging = imagine.  We really need that edit button!
