SDCC Watch: Marky Max and Keanu Klaatu!
By: Robert T. TrateDate: Thursday, June 26, 2008
Fox Studios will be in attendance this year at the San Diego Comic Con. Last year Fox pulled out of the SDCC unexpectedly, stating that none of their films: Aliens vs. Predator 2, Jumper, Babylon A.D. (I guess this was 10,000 B.C.?), and Hitman were ready for exhibition. This year Fox has announced two of their films that will be present at the SDCC.

Fox will also be showcasing Max Payne. The classic video game is finally getting the big screen treatment. Mark Wahlberg will star as Max Payne and the film will co-star Mila Kunis. The film will be directed by John Moore (The Omen (2006)). Max Payne is scheduled to be released October 17, 2008.
The San Diego Comic Con is July 24 to 27. If you haven’t gotten your tickets you had better hurry. The four day passes are already sold out. Mania’s columnist Rob Vaux and yours truly will be on hand. For more information and tickets check out the SDCC main page here.
