I actually wanted to see this but now glad that I didn't and won't even bothering looking it up

I loved Zero Dark Thirty. And when a film takes heat from both sides of the aisle from congress it leads me to believe it may be more right than wrong.

I saw this on Netflix when it got released for instant streaming.  I have to say that while I agree with some of what Tim said, especially in regards to how some of the SEALs were portrayed, I didn't think it was quite as bad as what he says.  It's at least worth watching, in IMHO.

I have this in my que (with 200 other films) on Netflix - I will have to check if its still available.

vt - I said as much on the box office thread. I still haven't seen zero and will more than likely find that to be a superior film. I thought the film did well with the documentary type style and first person camera shots from the soldiers pov. now after reading the review I feel like an idiot for thinking it had some good qualities. oh well. I guess watching it at one in the morning clouds your judgment.

Any "Hell on Wheels" fans will recognize Anson Mount who plays Cullen Bohannan. That's about all I have to add for this less then stelllar "film". Still need to see Zero Dark Thirty hopefully next weekend.

All "facts" aside, I thought it was an entertaining movie if you look at it as just another movie.

you could've said the director was cougar from top gun, not best known for roles in top gun and others. we would've known who you were talking about. and he directed the likes of into the blue and turistas. at least known movies, so not a nobody.

Zero Dark Thirty was an excellent movie. I can't say enough good things about it.

I watched Seal Team Six some time ago, and it was absolutely stupid. It was a long campaign ad for the President's re-election and little else. If our Navy Seal teams acted like they do in this movie, there would be nothing special about our forces.

If you haven't seen Zero, I highly recommend it. It was very well made, had great performances, and seemed very accurate and totally unbiased.
