At Anime Weekend Atlanta today, David Williams of ADV Films confirmed that they have indeed licensed the series Kanon. No formal plans have been announced yet but a showing was done this evening at 8pm EST.
The guessing game has come to a close and Mariela Ortiz from ADV Films has posted up the final cast list for Kanon. The series is being directed by Kyle Jones with translation by JN Productions and the ADR script by Kathleen Moynihan.

Catching up on another title from ADV Films, we've got a look at their fan favorite title Kanon Vol. #3 (of 6) which was released back on 03/11/2008 but may have taken a bit longer to get to some retailers.
Nothing official, but could it can't get too much more probable than the low and high bandwidth trailers that are available on the ADV Films site. There was a quicktime version as well but that appears to no longer be working.
