Second Full CARS Trailer Online

Finally, a decent trailer has arrived for Pixar's Cars.

Having have been a huge fan of Pixar since Toy Story, I was willing to give them a little leeway regarding their upcoming film Cars. However, leeway or not, I was worried about the upcoming film. The teaser trailer left me wondering, and the first full length trailer left me scratching my head. I couldn't get a grasp on the plot and the characters seemed bland and lacking in personality. In short, I just wasn't sure how I could develop an attachment to a couple talking cars.

The second full length trailer has shown up online, and you can officially file me away as excited.

The second trailer expands on the characters, shows the breathtaking scenery I have come to expect from Pixar and just generally pulls you into the film.

You can watch the trailer for yourself here. Be sure to comment below and share your opinion.

The kids can't wait to see this. Familiar, friendly story, great visuals, some rousing music, and Larry the Cable Guy...$200 million box office easy. I've read a few postings that say people won't get into this movie because they can't identify with cars. Whatever. I say that's baloney. I can't identify with fish, but I loved Nemo. People love cars; how many years have Hot Wheels and Matchbox been around? This movie will be another golden feather in Pixar's cap.

I seem to recall the naysers saying "The Incredibles" wouldn't be as successful as the previous Pixar movies because it was rated PG instead of G, yet it was a huge success. I think "Cars" is going to be one of the biggest box office movies of the year, and one of the most fun to watch. If Disney is smart, they'll keep their hands off Pixar's creative team and let them continue to work their magic.

It certainly looks to be a really great movie.

Pixar could make a flick about a family of kitchen sinks. It'd still do $200 million domestically.

I am giving the folks at Pixar the benefit of the doubt, they've never made a bad movie.

But, who has ever watched Doc Hollywood and thought, "This is really good, but it would be even batter if it starred animated, talking cars?"

But, those folks at Pixar haven't missed yet, so I'll be there.

schneider was right about the trailer. it definitely gives you more story and depth. i never would have guessed that the story went this direction from what they were showing before.

Pixar is gold... muchdrama is right when he made the comment about the kitchen sinks.

snallygaster... actually, Disney will keep their hands off Pixar's creative team because guess who is in charge? that's right Jobs and Lassister. because of the Disney buy out of Pixar, there was an exchange for Pixar's stocks and deals were made (can't remember the exact facts)... anyways when the dust settled Jobs and Lassiter (one of the two, or both, as I said I can't remember the specifics) are in charge of the whole animation department at Disney. Pixar is Disney... who better to be in control.

I even remember Lassiter saying that he wanted to bring back hand drawn cartoons to Disney. which is cool as hell. they even bringing back the same people who wrote/scored some of the better cartoons from Disney's hay-day (Little Mermaid, Lion King and Aladdin).

like I said, please don't quote me exactly but that's the gist of it all.

There hasn't been a Pixar movie I haven't enjoyed. I'll be seeing this one in the theators with my neice and nephew for sure. I'm also glad that the Pixar bosses are running the show over there at Disney. They were definately in need of a pick-me-up.
