Sega announced today that it has shipped SEGA BASS FISHING 2 to stores.
The sequel continues the tradition of combining deep gameplay with an arcade pace but adds a few new features as well. New to the game are Practice, Free Fishing and Tournament modes. After finishing levels in those modes new areas will be opened. Players also have control of a boat for the first time, as well as seven selectable characters with different attributes. The game continues to be compatible with the fishing rod controller.
"Throughout our 40-year history, Sega has been consistent in the creation of consumer-embraced franchises, such as SONIC ADVENTURE, CRAZY TAXI and soon the sequel to our hit fishing title, SEGA BASS FISHING,"says John Golden, director of product marketing, Sega of America. "SEGA BASS FISHING 2 is another demonstration of Sega's unrelenting commitment to our franchises, as it is an even more realistic fishing experience than itspredecessor."
SEGA BASS FISHING 2 retails for $29.99 and is rated "E" for Everyone.
