A-1 Pictures is moving right along with their next series even as their latest airs with So-ra-no-wo-to which can be found on Crunchyroll with subtitles every week. Due in the spring of this year from them is a series called Senko no Night Raid, of which you can see the original promo that launched at the end of 2009 at the bottom of this article as well as checking out various commercials that they've created since then here on the official site.These fifteen second blurb promos showcase various aspects of the series such as animation production with storyboards and a good tease of some of the music that will be had. Senko no Night Raid is a 1930's era spy series that is an original work similar to the venture that So-ra-no-wo-to is in that they're trying to do more of this nature rather than adaptations. The series is the second directorial work by Jun Matsumoto who recently did the Persona - Trinity Soul - series.
A-1 Pictures has had a few of their titles make their way to the US, such as Big Windup and Tetsuwan Birdy: Decode from FUNimation and the special surprise announcement last year of Kannage: Crazy Shrine maidens.
The company is also known for Kuroshitsuji, Valkyria Chronicles and Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail is the adaptation of the manga from the author of Rave Master and the series is still airing with episodes also showing up on Crunchyroll.
