Sentai's changing things up a touch for the month of June as its major focus will be on the bilingual release of the Clannad Complete Collection, which clocks in at $70 for the full 24 episode series. In addition to that, they've picked up three other new shows; La Corda D'Oro ~ Primo Passo has its first collection out, the complete Papillon Rose OVA series makes its debut and Brighter Than The Dawning Blue Complete Collection, better known as Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na -Crescent Love- comes out. Add in some Gintama and you have a good month from the company, though no hugely desired surprise licenses.

Section 23 has one new thing to note this month and an observation; first is that the Papillon Rose title will be released under a new studio called Maiden Japan and they call the title an erotic comedy. Second is worth noting that this is another month where prices on the subtitle sets have steadily moved to the $49.98 price point compared to the $39.98 price point that most Sentai titles were when the company started up through the beginning of this year.

what idiots here i thought they were trying to go into the right direction with dubs- so they jack the prices up on not just the series that  are getting dubs but those without dubs as well. Morons. Why isit that when a company wants to make more money they think they have to raise prices- when instead they should lower them

I guess i have to be glad for websites like rightstuf who through their weekly specials and membership discounts I can get these relatively overpriced anime at a good price... i'm especially excited to see papillon rose, the plot sounds entertaining!  :p

Yes yes starpunk- I also shop at places like right stuf and anime nation. But even so the higher they raise the price the more we will have to pay even with the discounts.

I will agree with you on papilllion rose. I looked it up on wikipedia- It's a spoof of magical girl shows mainly targeting sailor moon. It started out as a joke online and it grew a fan base over time. Even I will get this one.
