Sentai Filmworks just dropped the news on their September slate of titles and it's a pretty varied mix that will make for a heavy month for some folks. We're going off of some limited information though as the Sentai press releases generally do not include any language information and we have just pricing to go on for the most part to make an educated guess. First, Sentai has acquired the BONES series Xam'd which was showing as a simulcast on the PlayStation Network previously in both standard and high definition. So we're getting a DVD and Blu-ray release of this title and pricing on the DVD side indicates it might have a dub since there's the $10 premium on it. Sentai has also acquired Hell Girl's third season with the first of two collections arriving this month, subtitled only.
In addition to this, Sentai's bringing out their dubbed productions of Blue Drop and Ghost Hound, with Ghost Hound also getting a Blu-ray release. Readers will remember that Ghost Hound was a more expensive release in its first run due to the cost of the license, so it's little surprise that the complete and Blu-ray editions are more than the usual Sentai prices for other series.
Golgo 13 has a new collection out this month as well which as we learned from the first set, is dubbed. So if Xam'd is dubbed as it seems like it could be, only Hell Girl is the subtitle-only release from Sentai this month. Check out our ongoing discussion of these acquisitions and release news here.

Very much interested in purchasing Xam'd on Blu-ray in Sept.
Also happy to hear Hell Girl 3 will be released so soon after the Hell Girl 2 collection... niiice. I have no problem with the releases being in 'sub', it's the only way I tend to watch anime. If it's too expensive to pay for 'dub', and they can still get the release out on U.S. soil, then so-be-it.

I hope since they're releasing Ghoust Hound on Blu-ray they may decide to release other titles on that format as well, like Clannad.
But man, I'm stoked for Sentai. Now if they'd just announce their dub for After Story...
