The Review!
1st of all, I didn't expect anything from this series. I just thought it would be nice to see how good quality anime can be on DVD.
But, before praising the whole thing, I want to say that I got hooked into this one, really badly.

The first 3 episodes are a bit confusing, but the build up the tension for the 4th, and in that one the plot gets a new twist that makes you wanna see more of this unnatural adventure. I can't just say how much I really do enjoy of this show, you got to see it for yourself. It takes time to get used to the strange character designs, which look like they haven't used a lot of time drawing those, but the animation is quite good. I personally liked very much of Lain's haircut, which is something I haven't seen in anime or in real life ever. The music is also sometimes background noise, like humming of the electrical cables, but the opening song has touched my heart, and I keep watching the opening animation again and again. The CG fit perfectly to Lain, and when I don't see any, I feel like the scene is a bit naked.

Well, that's enough of the story, like the phrase goes: "No one can told what the Wired is. You got see it for yourself".

The DVD is something I hadn't ever seen. The could have cut away the opening and endings from the episodes between or make an option like play without those, because it stops the story for a while. Personally, I really liked the idea to have production thingies and catalogue of Pioneer's other stuff on this DVD. I hope Pioneer will keep up the good work and make the Fushigi Yuugi DVD-box a great experience for all anime fans around the globe.
