Director Sylvester Stallone seems to have found his groove on the set of his latest action-adventure The Expendables. The new behind-the-scene video clip, which you can see in the video player below, has appeared online courtesy of the film's Production Blog. In the clip Stallone is directing a scene which involves him taking out some (unseen) villains as well as some footage of a plane and the director getting mobbed by excited fans.
The Millennium Films/Nu Image production stars Sylvester Stallone, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Charisma Carpenter, Giselle Itie, Brittany Murphy and David Zayas. Stallone penned the script and production is currently underway.
Plot Concept: The story follows a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator.
The Expendables will hit theaters April 23, 2010.

Yeah? Well when I was growing up my future self sent back a Terminator to protect me because I eventually go on to save the entire human race from extinction. I'm serious!
I mean it, They grew up together in Maryland. Montgomery county to be exact.
Ok , good the movie is getting filmed. with all the superhero flicks out there , i hope Sly hides a place for his film to gather the the box office it needs . and hey who says your too old to kick ass when your 20 yrs pass your prime . Sly still has game .and a good cast !
I notice you guys don't list Stone Cold Steve Austin being in this, but that was obviously him in the clip with the two guys jumping and the explosion in the background. Austin has a specific walk and run style which is noticeble in the action scenes in Condemned. Just something I noticed, don't mean to nitpick.
I think this movie is going to kick ass. I have listened to Stallone's commentary and he is really intelligent when it comes to film. I didn't expect him to use a lot of technical jargon which resulted in me being surprised. I was one of those people that questioned the need for another Rocky movie, but that movie was awesome. Rambo was freaking awesome. I have more respect for him as a Director.
Now I'm finally getting him and Dolph back, can't wait. Really too bad he couldn't get Carl Weathers too.
My uncle and Sly Stallone were childhood friends growing up. I'm serious!
