Sorry Darth yeah I missunderstood.
Zilla Kingdom Come is required reading even if you don't regularly read comics. It's always voted in like the top 10 graphic novels ever.
Darth that's my point. MOS and Kingdome Come have competely different scenarios and situations comparingthe two seems very apples and oranges at least to me. In MOS they never elude to a might makes right, they put superman in a moment where the stakes were such where people could debate his decision endlessly. Look at us. I'm sure the filmmakers knew going in that that was going to be talked about. However it doesn't seem a might makes right issue to me.
That is exactly what I was thinking Wise with my comment, among many other issues which I'm sure will be explored in the sequels will be whether certain people can trust him even though he was saving those people and also how a villian like Luther could possibly use that issue as a way to turn public favor against superman. And of course the satellite and possible OMAC connection which is an awesome story. There are a lot of ways the sequels could go but I truly believe his final action against zod will have ramifications and that is also what I think makes it different from Kingdom Come.
Congrats Hanso!
Going to get my copy of totoro this week. It's an animation classic. Looking forward to Miyazaki's new film about the creation of the zero fighter.
That's definitely not mark hamill and kevin conroy.
Yeah he's gay and they killed off the boyfriend he was engaged to so it seems like they made a big deal out of his sexual preference for nothing.
Darth you keep bringing up kingdom come but what magog did in the comic seemed senseless. The event was different than what was used in Man of Steel. Magog walked up and killed the joker supes in man of steel was trying to protect those people in the midst of a battle. (yes I hear the argument about crashing through buildings and all that) but in that moment I thought the filmmakers gave his decision weight.
Also I said this in another post but I doubt the filmmakers are going to toss this plot element aside. Superman was obviously tormented by his decision and I think in future installments he is going to be pressed through circumstances to possible make the same choice against a future villian luther/doomsday/darksied, and will decide not to no matter what the situation or how destructive the villian is. I think the end of MOS will shape his character arc in the sequels.
I won't give spoilers by saying the ending of the MOS but I do believe that the ending will have future ramifications of future installments which I think is good. I believe it will be part of superman's overall arc as a character. I can understand some people being upset but I don't believe it is a plot thread that will get tossed away.
I loved it. Thought it was great. Had a few nitpicky complaints but I don't know how it could have been much better. Looking forward to an eventual JL flick. Hell yeah.
So all the websites are updating and correcting the error. John C Reilly is Nova Prime. That seems more likely a fit.

Damn I missed like half a day and we went to 10,000.
