Isaac Hayes Passes Away at 65 - Aug 10, 2008 - 09:35pm
I found a picture online from the upcoming movie Soul Men (featuring Samuel L. Jackson) in which two estranged soul-singing legends participate in a reunion performance at the Apollo Theater to honor their recently deceased band leader. I am not sure if the picture was a scene from the movie or if it was a group photo taken while the cameras were not rolling. The picture featured two other people with Mr. Jackson. They were Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes. The picture is from Mr. Hayes web site: http://www.isaachayes.com/myframes.html Here’s to hoping (and praying) that SLJ doesn’t check out for a long while. RIP to Bernie and Isaac.

But this news still SUCKS. I know this isn’t the right spot for it, but I figured the discussion needed to be started somewhere since there is not a news item on this site about this story currently. Oh well, at least we have that last half of season five (in 2009) and the SGA movie to look forward to. Get Bonnie Hammer the hell away from SciFi Channel!
