I've read this one too, and it sounds very much like they've changed the story quite a bit. The Fraternity was a league of supervillians, and this was clear from the outset. Hell it was even pointed out that the Fraternity killed all the superheroes in their universe and was going on to kill them in others as well, while secretly controling the world. Metalwater, I'm with you on this. looks like they're losing the original appeal and ironic twist of the story. I liked the comics idea of how some characters are evil, but have an undermining want to do good and thusly have these strange flexible moral compasses.

Why do they always have to re-make the great movies? If you have to do a re-make why not just re-make a movie that had a good idea but wasn't done well the first time? This is not going to have anywhere near the impact of the original. Plus you just know that Klaatu will now be saying "I must deliver my message to your leaders... Whoa".
