One person that Vin Diesel's Riddick character doesn't approve of is a "Merc". Witness him fighting one in this latest photo the producer has revealed via his Facebook page. In Universal Pictures' third installment, Diesel is joined by co-stars Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson. Franchise writer-director David Twohy returned to lead the production.
Plot Concept: Diesel reprises his role as the antihero Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy.
The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.
The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy.
Riddick arrives in conventional and IMAX theaters on September 6, 2013.
fuck yes, i liked pitch black i liked C.O.R. can't wait for this. though i gotta say i think vin, gained some weight . he looked chunky in fast five, and on this pic his arms look like they shrunk, damn boy hit the gym get bigger look meaner and leaner...lol.. my arms bout the same size in that pic, and i'm 42..

You guys are nuts! He looks pretty slick to me! Put anyone next to the Rock and they'll look small and outta shape though!!! He's about the same size he was for Pitch black, maybe a little beefier but he's also 45, not 30.....bet he can still kill with a tea-cup......
