SHANG CHI Hollywood bound

MATRIX fight choreographer to direct!

Marvel Comics is on fire these days in Hollywood, and here's another example: their martial arts comic THE HANDS OF SHANG CHI has just been set up at DreamWorks, with the director none other than Woo-ping Yuen -- the same Woo-ping that choreographed the fight action in the MATRIX trilogy of films and CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON.

Writing the film will be Bruce McKenna, the screenwriter behind HBO's BAND OF BROTHERS mini-series. According to today's story in Variety, McKenna has already toured China with Yuen looking for interesting places to shoot the picture.
