Thrill House Comics will debut Shark Man at this year's Comic Con in San Diego. Shark Man will initially ship as a bi-monthly miniseries and then as a series of three issue miniseries from there on.

Thrill House's second title to launch later in the year will team Shusett and painter Alex Horley on the Frazetta-inspired Cryptid, created by Michael Todd. The six issue miniseries chronicles the adventures of a professional game-tracker hired to find the Abominable Snowman.

Thanks to scooper Dave for the heads up.

Shark Man was the name of a comic book that Jeffrey Tambor and his son used to read together on the old sitcom, The Ropers.

There is an interview with the publisher on Newsarama with more artwork. You should take a look. http://www.newsarama.com/ThrillHouse/Town/MikeTownInt.html

Hmmm. Being the shark nut I am, I might take a look-see at the finished product just to see if it was worth it.

Of course, I'm a little biased...I've been working on a shark-type character of my own, only with a lot less serious intent
