Agree. Love Downey as Sherlock, perfect role for him. I would like to see Holmes using more of his observational and deductional skills rather than his fists.

It looks like you won't have to wait until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2 to check out the first teaser trailer for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. With the Guy Ritchie-directed sequel set to premiere its first trailer in theaters this weekend, Warner Bros. Pictures and Apple iTunes have jumped the gun and revealed it online. Watch it down below or in HD Quicktime here.
he "Holmes" sequel will star Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Jared Harris, Eddie Marsan, Gilles Lellouche and Stephen Fry. Director Guy Ritchie returned to the helm, based on a screenplay by the writing team of Kieran Mulroney and Michele Mulroney.
Plot Concept: Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room... until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large—Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris)—and not only is he Holmes' intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective.
When the Crown Prince of Austria is found dead, the evidence, as construed by Inspector Lestrade (Eddie Marsan), points to suicide. But Sherlock Holmes deduces that the prince has been the victim of murder—a murder that is only one piece of a larger and much more portentous puzzle, designed by one Professor Moriarty.
Mixing business with pleasure, Holmes tracks the clues to an underground gentlemen's club, where he and his brother, Mycroft Holmes (Stephen Fry) are toasting Dr. Watson on his last night of bachelorhood. It is there that Holmes encounters Sim (Noomi Rapace), a Gypsy fortune teller, who sees more than she is telling and whose unwitting involvement in the prince's murder makes her the killer's next target. Holmes barely manages to save her life and, in return, she reluctantly agrees to help him.
The investigation becomes ever more dangerous as it leads Holmes, Watson and Sim across the continent, from England to France to Germany and finally to Switzerland. But the cunning Moriarty is always one step ahead as he spins a web of death and destruction—all part of a greater plan that, if he succeeds, will change the course of history.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows will inspect theaters December 16, 2011.

I don't ever remember reading in any of the books about Sherlock Holmes cross dressing?
i loved the first one and was there opening weekend- ill be there for this one too... cant wait for it..
I have loved Sherlock Holmes since I was a kid and first introduced to the Hound of the Baskervilles and have enjoyed everything about the character since. This looks like a blast and I for one cant wait to see it!!
Looks Great. Perfect Duo Downey and Law. Definately looks better then the 1st one.
Looks like an action movie, which is the problem I had with the first movie trailer when it came out and why I didn't see it in the theater. That being said when I finally did see it on DVD I really enjoyed it so I have hope for this one as well. It makes sense to use the same type of promo for the 2nd movie as they did for the first one considering the success.
This looks like a fun movie. I love his fighting style and the slow-mo effects they use.
This looks better than the first one. Jared Harris is an excellent fit for Moriarty. This movie is going to kick ass.
