There be may a dilemma for Americans when it comes to the third series of Sherlock. Empire Magazine has release the official date for the premiere of 'The Empty Hearse'. The BBC has announced that the release date will be January 1st.
However, here in the states, PBS has announced that they will air the return of Sherlock on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 10pm, following the 9pm broadcast of Downtown Abbey.
As for the BBC the other episodes of the series are as follows: “The BBC have also announced that episode 2, ‘The Sign Of Three' (written by Stephen Thompson), will air on Sunday January 5 and episode 3, 'His Last Vow' (written by Steven Moffat), will air on Sunday January 12. 12 days, three Sherlock episodes. It's going to be a bad fortnight in the ovary explosion department of your local A&E”.
The BBC was going to get to air the series premiere first. That much was expected. Now the ethical question and conflict is, do Americans wait for the PBS premiere or find it by any other means?
