too many hip people looking hip...not so sure about this.

This can turn out to be a very cool CSI type show, but in the Marvel universe. Imagine the possibilities. The missions they go on can probably hint at the presence or activity of super heroes and super villain. It's a Marvel world, so I really don't see why not.

@BunyonSnipe- one can only hope that cousin Jenny would appear on the scene.

I just don't know how they're going to explain Coulson in good health.

I'll watch but I honetsly dont see this making it past a first season, especially if its on one of the big networks like NBC or ABC...just not gonna work. And it looks like a cheese-fest.

SarcasticCaveman 5/11/2013 10:43:12 PM

Oh come now, the big networks don't just cancel shows to cancel them...it all comes down to ratings.  Once Upon A Time is PURE cheese, and it's in it's second season, LOST lasted for 6 seasons...to blame networks for cancelling shows that just don't get watched it idiotic.

The Avengers STILL has the biggest opening weekend take, EVER, so there are ALOT of people who might want to see this series...

Then again that creates ALOT of expectation.

shh has a small snippet and that shit looked cool as hell.

SC it looks like we will get some capes afterall. Now my hopes for the show are even higher.

That dude could be Luke Cage that jumps out the window but I was thinking Cloak. We'll see

SarcasticCaveman 5/12/2013 2:37:19 PM

I saw that also, Wiseguy...I think Screen Rant posted about it on Facebook.  Looks pretty great.  I really like the concept for this show - a look at the Marvel Universe through the eyes of those who don't have powers or vast fortunes...kind of like what the "Marvels" miniseries did through the eyes of a journalist.

Yeah FB and Twitter are all over the seven second clip(Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and #coulsonlives respectively).

I got to say I am liking what I'm seeing from this.  It seems like it like it takes the best of what shows like Alias did well but adds a superhero/supernatural twist to it that's been popular with shows like Grimm and OUAT.  Audiences seem to like agency/spy/action series and using a tried, tested and proven successful formula from the big screen.  So it seems it's not just a small screen version of popular movie, but the fact it takes place in the same universe that has a pretty sizable fan base already(despite writing, acting or other elements that could attract newer fans).  It reminds me of what Smallville did by using a popular teen angst genre and making a superhero show out of it.  Some may have had problems with it but it lasted 10 years and ended on its own terms.  I fully expect to see hints of a "much bigger universe" just as Fury said in Iron Man.  I'm even confident that Sam Jackson would be down for doing a cameo or two because he's that kind of guy.  Even if mainstream audiences don't catch on, I'm sure the established fan base will continue to watch and give it staying power for at least a couple of seasons, which would take us to at least Avengers 2.  Never before have we seen multiple franchises blend into a mega-hit blockbuster.  So it's very possible we see small screen action drama integration with a big screen franchise.  I expect it and would welcome it.

Oh and case you hadn't realized from the twitter handle, I think it's a safe bet that this takes place squarely after The Avengers.
