Are people going to bitch about sequels to books too the way they do films?
Anyway I'd see a sequel if it ever got made but it isn't something I'm particularly interested in to be honest

I have'nt read anything by King in years. The last book I'd read of his all the way through was Bag of Bones and that was just meh. Couldn't finish From a Buick 8. His books have become a chore to get through so I don't bother anymore.
Psychic vampires called The Tribe...any relation to the vampires in Lost Boys:The Tribe?
The psychic vampire concept has been done to perfection by Dan Simmons in Carrion Comfort and I recommend that novel to any interested. Hollywood establishment should be trying to revive Dark Tower ahead of this.
I've felt King has been creatively bankrupt for a long time. He has produced some great horror classics, but he just doesn't seem to have the same mojo anymore.
I don't have a problem with sequels to books, but this sounds more like an old episode of the X-Files. Or, treading more into Dean Koontz territory.
fuck yes i would go watch it, i think it would be a good movie. besides i think shia is a good actor. i just don't get all that hate!??
Well, the good news is that right now Shia says he won't do studio movies (apparently going with artsy porn instead), so there's no chance of your worst fear there being realized. Unless he changes his mind, of course.
