FUNimation Adds New Price Drops (Article) - 2/3/2011 6:32:45 AM

I'd like to see what this does to retail prices.  Claymore dropped to $55 but I paid in the low $30s for it brand new from either Right Stuf or Amazon so I'm not sure what any of this really means.

New SUCKER PUNCH Poster (Article) - 1/14/2011 6:19:48 AM

The movie looks good but I don't like this poster.

Charlie's Angels Reboot Coming (Article) - 1/14/2011 4:15:29 AM

I won't be watching this unless they make it softcore porn like VIP.  I think they should stick to rebooting shows that were good to begin with or coming up with new ideas.

Sentai Filmworks Done With Golgo 13? (Article) - 12/30/2010 8:18:11 PM

The price tag was a big turnoff for me; they were going for nearly $50 per 13 episode box.  That felt crazy high when I could go buy 26 episodes of a show on BD for about the same price or less.

FOCKERS Has Gritty Victory (Article) - 12/27/2010 5:06:16 AM

Wow @ Fockers costing $100 Million.  I've never seen any of them, but they're pretty normal films that take place in normal settings with no action sequences or CGI effects aren't they?  I didn't know Stiller and DeNiro were still able to command salaries that turn like $15M movies into $100M movies.

Favreau Quits IRON MAN 3 (Article) - 12/17/2010 10:14:22 PM

No loss for me.  I loved Iron Man but thought IM2 was pretty crummy in comparisson.  Crummy to the point where I had no interest in part 3 at all.  Hearing that he's gone actually makes me a little interested in the project.

Transporter, Taken Series in Works (Article) - 12/13/2010 4:08:28 AM

Or it could be that guy when he was younger going on spy missions with his A-Team friends. Also, I think you overestimate both the realism and quality of the drama in Die Hard 1.  All of them were fantasy/action.

Batman Battle Royale (Article) - 11/1/2010 8:18:50 PM

Kevin Conroy.  As far as real people, I agree with Kilmer.  Keaton was good enough.  Clooney wasn't.  I forget the current guy's name but he's always the most forgettable character in the films, I can't understand what he says, and in Dark Knight I actually loathed seeing him on screen unless the Ledger was onscreen at the same time.

Naruto: Shippuden Episode #176 (Article) - 9/2/2010 12:48:28 PM

For me, this was the best non-fight based Naruto episode that I can remember seeing.

Bandai Sets October Anime Release Plans (Article) - 8/30/2010 12:11:33 PM

I think we should commend Bandai for being one of the few companies that are trying to bring a true and authentic otaku experience over to the US, using the combination of high prices and ludicrously low episode counts.
