SIGNS DVD due January 7

VARIETY reports that the Mel Gibson/M. Night Shyalaman pic SIGNS will be released for home video on January 7, 2003. The DVD release will be on Buena Vista's "Vista Series" label, which is the home for the studio's feature-packed DVD releases.
The SIGNS DVD will feature a movie by Shyalaman, which he made as a child, as well as a DVD diary about writing the script. The film, which has grossed $224m theatrically, will see shelves crowded with other post-holiday releases.
