Producer Joel Silver said that he now believes the 'Wonder Woman' should be an origin story (or genesis story, as he calls it), but the difficulty is in finding a take on it that works.
"I just think it should be a genesis story, and I've got to find a way to tell it," Silver said. "Because whenever I got into the stuff, you know, Paradise Island and stuff, it was kind of goofy. But I've got to find a way to do it where it's effective. I mean, I thought some of the stuff they did in 300 was great. I don't know if I want to make it that way, but, I mean, I think there's a way to do this where the audience is going to accept it. But I've got to figure it out."
