Wouldn't it be great if at the end of the series Clark is saved by the real Superman? Suppose the world that encompasses Smallville is an alternate version of our world, and maybe that's why the creators of the show can change some of the mythology. It would be nice if, the Superman we all know, showed up to save Clark and put him on the right path to his true destiny. Its just a thought.
