After all this time I don't have any real enthusiasm to see this sequel. I sort of feel the same way about the 300 sequel. I'm sure I'll see them at some point but I'm not rushing out opening weekend.

I, on the other hand, can't wait to see the sequel, especially since it's retaining the same creators unlike the 300 sequel, which btw, is garnering fairly encouraging ratings for a high octane genre film. Even critics who gave the movie a poor rating overall rave about Eva Green's ability to own every scene she's in. Want me some of that...

yeah its just easier for me to get into a sequel when its appropriately timed, while you're still in the excitement of the first....this just came WAAAAAAAAAY too late for me to be excited about.

I just saw the new trailer for this.  Hate to say it, but it looks like a made for TV sequel or Direct to Video at best.  Shame, I liked the first one a lot.  I'll still give  try though.

I don't see what time has to do with shit. The first movie had me excited for it without any precedence - having never read the novels and just liking the way it looks.

Made for TV sequel? It looks just like - if not - better than what the first one pulled off.

I'll wait until this hits the Redbox; looks like just more the of same to me.

I'm looking forward to this.

I loved the comics but one of the things that excites me is that the film includes some original material, at least that's what I've read

Looks good to Me , I was always a fan of those old classic film noir gangster films with Bogart , I liked the first and with Frank Miller aboard again makes the material more different than the first . About films being so far apart , look at Star Wars that even futher apart , I enjoyed seeing the first one back in 77', Im not ithrilled with  the last 3 films or the ones they are filming now .
