Frank Miller's Sin City, the live-action movie based on Miller's comic and from Dimension Films, caused quite a splash at the recent Comic-Con International in San Diego.
Lady Death creator Brian Pulido said that Andy Orjuela, producer/director, of ADV Films' Lady Death animated movie, understood the character. "From the beginning, Andy got it," Pulido said. "I don't know what your perspective is, but I've never seen anything like Lady Death in live-action or anime. Sure, you see these girl-power films, but nothing like Lady Death. Lady Death is its own thing, and Andy got that. I feel good and confident that he's held the torch."
Halle Berry of Catwoman and the X-Men movies and Jennifer Garner of Daredevil and Elektra were winners at the 2004 Teen Choice Awards Sunday night at Universal Amphitheater in Universal City, Calif.
Smallville's Tom Welling and Kristen Kreuk were among the presenters.
