Anne Thompson's Thompson on Hollywood blog at Variety puts the spotlight on Christopher Nolan and 'The Dark Knight' but also has some interesting tidbits about other DC Comics films.
Thompson hears that the prospect of director Bryan Singer returning to film another 'Superman' movie is "highly unlikely", with Singer transitioning from his current film 'Valkyrie' to 'The Mayor of Castro Street'.
Furthermore, in spite of protests to the contrary by director George Miller, Thompson says that 'Justice League' has, in fact, been waylaid by the WGA writers strike. Filming will not commence until after the strike has been resolved.
And, of course, Warner Bros. is crossing their fingers for Nolan to return for 'Batman 3'.
