Get rid of Raimi. Any jerkoff can make a decent SpiderMan movie. As long as Franco and Fugly MJ dont do the twist in this one.

Pirate Zero is my hero!  That cat probably saved some people from wasting $$ on the craptastic Wolverine.  If anyone should face jail time it's the Fox studio suits who insists on spitting movie audiences in the face by releases crap for a quick buck.

Pirate Zero didn't cost Fox any money, it's that POS Wolverine that did.  Fact is, if the movie had been any good, word of mouth by the early views from piracy would've helped the movie but since it sucked balls there was no good word of mouth.

Raimi should just walk, he ain't going to deliver anything good if they force him.  Sony should let the franchise sit and reboot but if Raimi walks I'm sure they'll hire some retard like Bret Ratner or Stephen Sommers to take the reins and we'll get stuck with another crappy film.

I hope that Raimi threatens to walk away from the project letting them twist in the wind finding a new director and hope that Tobey threatens to walk as well backing him up.

Without Raimi they'll cobble together a god aweful mess that will tank at the box office.

I can not believe in this, Singer is back. That is the worst thing that could happend to the franchise,

Singer is back, the gay X-men are back.

 Some suggest that Pirate Zero actually made Fox money. Reportedly, a lot of people were made more aware of the movie when it was leaked, and it wound up increasing the number of people who paid to see the thing.

For all of Fox's ranting about theft, it was just free publicity for them and their crappy little B-movie. 

Thor: Rene Russo as Frigga? I'm really surprised at what talent they're getting for assumedly small roles and at the number of Norse Gods we're going to be seeing in this movie. I am wodering if we'll be seeing Hela now and who would be portraying her (or has this already been announded?).

Spidey 4: Vulture sure seems like a weak choice of villain. Despite how Spidey 3 turned out with Venom, I can understand Sony's objections unless it's as part of a larger villain group (either some animal-inspired villains such as Rhino, Lizard, Black Cat & Kraven or as part of the Sinister Six which I'd love to see include Electro).

Hey you arer right SavageLee, I hadn't thought of that.  I had a read a few times (not on the Wolverine case) that people that pirate stuff, usually never have any interest in actually going to the movies in the first place.  So the leak doesn't really hurt the box office take as much because the pirates didn't want to see the movie, they just did cause they got it for free.

Omarangel, isn't the worst stuff that happened to the franchise, Bret Ratner?  Can't get any worse after that.

Boy you guys are full of it. So what's up with all the people here that stole the movie, a bunch of movie fans here. And the bunch that I read on other sites like superhero.com to name one. All these are genre fans that may or  may not have gone to see it for themselves. The fact is that if the movie suks word will get out but independent thinkers may or may not go see for themselves. But once you can steal it then of course there's no need.

And please, saying that the movie made more because of this is bullshit. That's only coming from you guys and the people that encourage it even if they don't admit it. The fact is it made less than the previous 2 X-Men so I'm not buying that bs argument

Btw, agree with the overall sentiment about Singer. The guy needs to stay away from this genre as far as possible. His X-Men weren't what they should've been. And part 2 was good cause they basically adapted one of the best X stories ever and it still didn't live up to the original works

Nobody stole anything, it's called "sharing"  file sharing to be exact.  Online peeps share with each other, just like you would share your dvd with your friend so he can view a film.

Wolverine still did well enough, had it been a decent movie it would've done much better.  That's not on piracy that's on Fox.  Plus the workprint that leaked still had to make people go out to pay for the movie to get the full effect of the film since many of the CG shots weren't finished.

The leak had the same effect free test screenings by the studio does.  It got people talking on the film, unfortunately for Fox the word out wasn't great.
