Sinister arrives October 5th, 2012

The first trailer for Sinister has been released. Check out the motion poster that we had up from a few days ago. 
Sinister, the latest horror film from director Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose). Starring Ethan Hawke, the movie will be released to theaters by Summit Entertainment on October 5th.
The Plot: A true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story moves his family into a house where the horrific murder of an entire family took place. But after finding a box of home videos in which other families are also brutally murdered, his investigation leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm’s way.

Sinister also stars Vincent D’Onofrio, James Ransone, Fred Dalton Thompson, Nicholas King, Clare Foley, Victoria Leigh, Juliet Rylance and Michael Hall D’Addario.

Now that don't look bad, has gore suspense and a wimpy dad who will turn out to be the hero,  That is something I might see.

Looks like it has a few bumps in the dark and creepy demon moments...could be decent, my only complaint is the whole "mysteriously stumbled upon on of these tapes in a nicely packed box in the centre of a perfectly cleaned attic"

.....nothing questionable about that lol!
