Score another one for the sleeper success story of 1999, THE SIXTH SENSE. With a total of $285.9 million earned at the box office, writer-director M. Night Shymalan's horror film has become the 11th highest grossing film ever in North America. (Former #11, HOME ALONE, dropped to 12th place with its total earnings of $285.5 million.) Still in second-run release, SENSE has a shot at passing $300-million in domestic revenues, especially if an Oscar win (it has six nominations) provides a boost at the box office.
