Hoping this is as good as Casino Royale was after a medicore Quantum of Solace. I was for one "blown away" by the trailer and Skyfall will have a hard time being as good as it's trailer.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I miss the suave, ladies man aspect of the character. I also miss the gadgets. I love Craig as Bond. I just wish they'd bring back a little more of the elements that made Bond the spy you wanted to be instead of Bond / Bourn the assassin you feel sorry for. Even though the new crop of Bond films are good, he seems like every other tortured government asset in the spy world. The character just isn't fun anymore.
With that said, I'll be there on opening day because I'm Bond fan. And, more than likely, I'll enjoy the film. But, I'm sure I'll be beseeched with the feelling there's just something missing. While what I'm seeing may be enjoyable, it just won't be "my" Bond.
BTW - I don't care about the Bond from the books. I want the super agent I grew up with in well written, action packed fantasys.
I wonder if this will have anything to do with the organization Quantum from the previous two
Looks good. Well even if it didn't look good, as a Bond fan I'm going to be there opening day one way or another.

Looking forward to this, but wasn't blown away by the trailer by any means.
