Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert's Ghost House Pictures will produce.

I can't wait for this film. I hope and pray the producers and director get actors for the roles and make a thriller; not a slasher with a bunch of "it" kid actors. This movie could be amazing with the right tone and music.

I think I saw this comic book on the shelf. I seemed like a slasher book. Apparently (according to wessmith) it is not just a slasher book. I'll have to check it out now.

Your "kinda" is too kind. This comic has a great plot and hopefully it will make a great movie, but the comic is terrible.

IDW comics are always very iffy because they are so avante garde in form, and yet very ordinary when you get to the core of the comics. I haven't read any of the 40 Days series, but it looked and sounded pretty cool. The premise is great so hopefully they can run with it. Oh, and as far as I know this is more of a horror/thriller, isn't it?
