Peter has finally become the bully that I allways wanted him to be! :(

yea the dunk was alil EXTRA for me...but the funny thing is he took like 6 steps and then he charged Flash. Even with the dunk he looked like a silly angry nerd with that last play.

theduck1980 its very simple why there doing another Spiderman movie. If Sony didn't make this movie they would lose the rights to make Spiderman movies!

I think the scene was cool.. and def needed. remember when tobey fought flash in the hallway with the entire school watching??  that wasnt so great.. but it didnt kill the movie..

This scene is peter just being cocky bcuz he just got his powers.. i assume.. give it a chance guys.. pleeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzee..

I think they shouldve saved this for when/if he gets the symbiote, as this is something that version of him would do. Well, its either that or struting down the street like John Travolta...wait that already happend didn't it ?

I say let the haters hate. They'll be eating their crow once they watch it.

I'm sure this clip hurts from the lack of context.  The dunk looked terrible to me, though...just the pose he had flying through the air looked too silly.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed on this one.  Sometimes they put something out that piques my interest and other times they release something that does absolutely nothing for me.  This movie has had a very up-and-down promo cycle for me.

As people pointed out, I'm guessing this scene here is an example of Peter being too cocky prior to Ben dying.  As we all know the origin, when Pete got the powers, he was all for himself.

My kids and I are still looking forward to seeing this. It's so fun to have my kids at their age and enjoy movies like this (and the Avengers films) with me. No sitters needed!

A Belgian website has the first review up and gives the movie 4 stars. And, there is a post credit sequence. I didn't read it so I don't know what it is.

NO problem with this scene.  Peter acted the same way in the comics when he got his powers. That's what people don't seem to get here.  Plus it was also done in Rami's spidey version too when Peter and Flash had a fight by the lockers. It's him dealing with his new abilities and showing off a bit.

It's really not that hard to understand.

I've turned around somewhat on this movie since I first saw the preview.  I still don't like the Edward lookalike playing Peter, but whatever...even Edward was good when he was Cedric Diggory.  And I can't really be pissed about certain elements I've heard about - sounds like they're picking and choosing elements from classic and ultimate Marvel...kinda like what another studio did with GREAT success...I'll check it out, definitely.

Question - somebody mentioned Sony made this because they would lose the rights to make Spiderman movies.  I'm not sure how Hollywood works, but I thought the studio has the Spiderman rights for six movies.  I remember that Raimi's original plan was six movies, building up the Sinister Six for the final movie...I don't know...if that were the case though, wouldn't Sony lose the rights after two more movies?
