At a panel held today at Anime Expo 2009, FUNimation Entertainment announced the English dub cast for the fantasy adventure series Slayers Revolution from Enoki Films. The all-star cast features the voice actors from the previous hit releases The Slayers, Slayers Next and Slayers Try.
Lisa Ortiz will reprise her role as Lina
Veronica Taylor will return as the voice of Amelia
The role of Gourry will once again be voiced by Eric Stuart
and Crispin Freeman will be back to voice Zelgadis.
Lastly, Michael Sinterniklaas will be voicing the character Xellos.
About Slayers Revolution
The next chapter of the tale follows the adventures of a young sorceress Lina Inverse and her companions as they cross their land in search of replacing the Sword of Light.
FUNimation Entertainment will release the 26-episode series on DVD in 2010.
Absolutely amazing! I wouldn't watch it otherwise so I'm very happy the old cast is returning.
Michael Sinterniklaas will be the ADR director so I'm guessing they will record in NY and fly in Crispin Freeman.
David Moo is not returning which many will like.
I love the English cast!! Eric Stuart alone is worth the price of the dub!!!!

Awesome! It's about time they got the original team back together. The question is, will they be dubbing it in New York or Texas?
I also had a bit of a running joke where, after years of unemployment, Funimation representatives finally found the whereabouts of Eric Stuart somewhere in a NY back alley. One of the reps would say:
"Hey Eric! You finally got a gig! No, you don't have to perform at Taco Casa again; you've got an honest-to-goodness voice acting job. Now get out of that box you've been sleeping in- we're moving you to Texas!"
