SLEEPY HOLLOW Season Finale Trailer

Did you hang around?

When I saw that first teaser for Sleepy Hollow I really thought that Fox had lost their head. Now here we are at the big season finale, I still can’t believe it. Check out the TV spot for the big 2 hour season 1 finale, which airs this coming Monday. Did any of you Maniacs stick with Sleepy Hollow?

Sacrifices must be made, worlds collide, loyalties are tested and the town of Sleepy Hollow will never be the same”.

Synopsis: From co-creators/executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (the "Star Trek" and "Transformers" franchises, "Fringe") comes the adventure thriller SLEEPY HOLLOW. In this modern-day retelling of Washington Irving's classic, ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison, "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen") is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity's last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie, "Shame," "American Violet") to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.

Never watched it, but I've heard it's a lot better than most of us Maniacs thought it would be when they first announced it.

Watch it every week and even got my wife hooked on it (though I think she's more there for Mr. Mison). It's a goofy ride that's done well.

Love this show and haven't missed an episode. WAY better than I thought it would be.

watched the first five episodes, but then my interest waned as it turned into yet again, another formulaic "beast/demon/apparition-of-the-week" show. There's an underlying mythos with the headless horseman at it's center, but overall I got tired of the premise... and why the dude persisted on wearing his 1700's garb episode after episode was just plain incomprehensible.

I've loved the show so far, but I was kind of bored by the last episode.

I love this show.  It is really strong in both characters and plot.  I hope that Fox sticks with it, and brings it back for a full 22 episode season next year.

Calamity, I actually LIKE the fact that he has kept his 1700s garb.  It would just be too hokey for him to suddenly awaken 200 years later and the next day decide that he needed to be dressed in Calvin Klein and Old Navy.  This is a man who resents being alive centuries after his time, and is in no rush to give up who he is to blend in.  You want to talk about "just another" something, having him suddenly modernize his appearance would be "just another" time travel show where the "man out of time" stereotype just shrugs and rolls with the new, thus losing the "man out of time" aspect of his character in a single wardrobe change.

@captamerica - ok, by me saying "1700's garb episode after episode was just plain incomprehensible" how did you jump all the way to "calvin klein", "old navy", and "next day"? In the show he's walking aroudn in minutemen garb WEEKS if not MONTHS after he appeared AND he supposedly is trying to keep a low profile so as not to draw attention that he just time traveled (or whatever happened to him) and is working suddenly very close with law enforcement despite not 1. having any type of identification 2. no education/training in criminal law enforcement 3. a former suspect in one of the murders. In real life... or even in a semi-reasonable facsimile of real life on quality shows this could have been resolved with partner/sergeant/any regular on the show shoving a pair of plain jeans and a flannel

After 200 years it's hard to change them clothes.

Love this show too. They've managed to hold my interest even when I thought there was only so much they could do with the premise, I was wrong to this point.

@CalamityJohnson - "incomprehensible" - I do not think that word means what you think it means...
