If you dig the short films, make sure you've seen Mr. B-Natural. Insanity at it's finest.
Bring back MST3K!!!!
J.J. Abrams to direct "Star Trek XI" - Dec 10, 2006 - 08:48pm
As has been seen with 'Batman Begins', a franchise that had once been run into the ground, (Batsuit nipples and all) by Joel Schumacher, can be revived in a prequel. Not to change the subject to the Caped Crusader, but I liked that movie and sure missed Bats on the screen. I miss Star Trek much the same way. Here's hoping that cast, actors, execs and director of any new Trek will recognize that their film is in the same transition phase as Batman. Do we go forward and produce a quality product that will generate money and future opportunity? Or do we crank out some Artsy trash that craps on the history and identity of Trek as well as paying customers? Sadly on this second question, Hollywood is very blind to self examination. And that is why the worries continue.
Sam Raimi finds more superheroes? - Dec 07, 2006 - 10:25am
Yesss! I'd love to see any, or even better...ALL the pulp superheros make a much anticipated visit to the big screen. Just please keep them in their eras of the early half of the 20th century. A modern pulp might just suck enough to kill any pulp film franchise before it starts. Go Raimi go!
