@EnderWiggin, I almost forgot. I never received your email, or if I did it went to spam. My guess is you weren't asking for autograph.

@hanso, I would if I had it. I even checked my trash because I'm very curious.

@citrafreak, glad you enjoy the reviews. Personally I think my reviews are better than the show, but I'm just a second rate hack and the writers of Smallville are first class all the way.   ;)

I also liked that Lois will eventually coin the name "Superman," and that it was based on her conversation with Hawkman. And the closing shot was great.

I just sent another comment that isn't showing up here. Buggy boxes today.

I watched the show this week to see Michael Shanks.  He makes a very entertaining Hawkman.  In fact, he makes a much better Hawkman than he has a Daniel Jackson receintly.

I was a little disappointed  that we didn't get to see the Hawk costume with the wings.  And I was disturbed that he thinks he's going to die soon so he can be reincarnared again with his wife.  But watching him get slapped upside the head by Lois was pure gold.  Too bad he didn't get to actually kiss her first.

And does a tolerance for alcohol continue on from life to life or does he have to build it anew with each lifetime?  My guess is he has to start from scratch each time.

And this Godfrey guy is def the Glorious Godfrey, Darkseid's propoganda hack.

@karas, of course this is pure speculation, but I would assume if I came back to life every 60 years or so for 3000 years and recalled my previous experiences, I'd remember how to drink too. I'm actually not too shabby at it, and I've only been doing it for a few decades. Which is at least two more decades than Lois, and I would have been tanked if I shared half a bottle with a real whiskey drinker in the hot desert sun.

I miss Lana.  She has super-powers now.  And the fortress can neutralize the Kryptonite that Lex infested her with.  I always thought that in this universe Clark should end up with Lana.  Of course as the last of his race (not really) he should have knocked up Lana, Lois, Chloe, the teleporting chick, all the cheerleaders and every other willing female.  Start the hybridizing of the human race.  And would it hurt for Kara to pop out a bunch of kids?  And there are more Kryptonian survivors out there.  I always liked the idea that they would create New Krypton on a planet put into synchronus orbit with the earth around the Sun.

And for that matter, I miss Callum Blue.  I always thought his arc should end with redemption.  Oh well.

And that little clone of Lex.  If he has all of Lex's memories, maybe he is just playing Miss Tess Mercer.  Or is he really just an innocent?

Only time will tell!

P.S.  Bring back Aaron Ashmore as Jimmy!

@Enderwiggin and Steak Guy, Don't you guys have anything better to do then troll sites?  If you don't like the review fine... But to insult the intelligence of Joe makes me question your intelligence. Get a life please

Joe, as always, you give your 2 cents and I respect that.  We're not ones to tell you what you should or shouldn't like, you're giving an honest reaction as just a straight-up viewer of the show.

BTW, there was a bit of throw-away dialogue from "Cat" saying that she gets mistaken with the TV host Cat Grant from Season 9 when she first meets Clark at the Planet.  Hopefully, that clears up the confusion.

Personally, I had a few issues with this episode.  While it was cool to get a lot of DC cameos into the show, the plot felt kind of rushed for me.  The Suicide Squad's plans for Clark, Carter and Oliver felt a little contrived and last-minute in order to prolong the suspense.  Chloe missing felt like a plot that was written specifically to justify that the character is still important (for some reason) on the show.

Other than that, I enjoyed the rest.  It's nice to see Tess actually SEEM to be taking a side by helping Clark and Oliver in Chloe's absence.  I wonder how that will turn out if they decide to go the whole "Lex reborn" route.  Who will she side with?  I liked that Carter pretty much said to Lois what we were all thinking: JUST TALK TO CLARK.  And the ending with Clark's new look was pretty cool.   I'd really like a red jacket like that to wear around town.

Sorry, one last thing that bothered me: apparently Oliver is the love of Chloe's life as she described in her e-mail to him.  What about that fake "Jimmy" that you married and who sacrificed his life for you?  Ungrateful skank...;)
