I had a post disappear on me twice.  I'm not going to try a third time.  Instead I'll just go drink to forget.

Well put Millean, and to take it a point further, if this show first off had been based off some random new super hero, not Superman and its history/characters, no matter aimed at high schoolers, pre-teens or adults, it would have sunk fast with this writing.

As it is, people like a lot of us, keep watching for the little twinges of stuff we know of Superman being incorporated into the show and those small moments of geeky comic book happiness at seeing it on the small screen.

I like this show.  But lets face facts, I don't watch this show because it is well written, well acted, or pure awesomeness....I watch it because it's about Superman.

I watch it because I like Erica Durance's boobs.

Did Erica Durance piss in your coffee for you to snipe at her in nearly every review I've read? Her dialogue was stilted but she did her best. I bought her as Isis and as Lois.

Also, as a comic book fan, I still don't expect fanboyish perfection from Smallville. It's on the CW and started out as a teen show. Is it entertaining? That's the only question I need to be answered. I don't expect realism from Smallville. Hell, I'm going to refrain from pointing out the various crack-tastic things that have happened in the comics.

Lastly, reviewers who try to portray a disenchanted, I'm-too-cool-for-this vibe is so 2009. Yes, I mean you.
