So with Zod knowing that Clarks blood is the key and the tower being destroyed.  Does that mean the Book of Rao is unimportant now ?

I did like the John Corbin mention,  whenb does he come back ?

EvilMonkey - I thought I saw him in the preview for the next episode.

I can see it now.  Zod and the Kandorians will be out for blood.  Kal-El's blood.

I've missed the crap leading up to this whole Kandorian crap, but < yawn >.

I also watched the rerun after, and...wait...Ollie dated Lois?  Speedy is a chick?  It really is frickin' Dawson's Creek.  At least Durance has a great rack.

I think most everything has been covered at this point...

but man, the number of times lois has been knocked out so clark can come in to save the day.....she's had more concussions than an NFL QB.

Gonna be some long term brain damage here

I forgot about something that baffled me.  At the beginning Clark was mad at one of the Kandorians because she had her dog tag showing.  Seriously, that would give it away?

There is no suspense in this show, once you see someone get knocked out you know Clark is about to enter.  Been that way for 9 seasons.

Oh man... As much as I like Smallville.  Tom Welling is really starting to piss me off.  Or should I blame the writers??  I'll just blame both.  The ignornace of Clark is really amazing to me. The whole blood, Savior aspect was annoying too.  Is Clark Jesus now?  His blood will wash away our sins and give us everlasting life???  I'm sorry, I'm usually not this much of a whiner.  But this show is making my hair turn more grey by the week!  Thank God for Justin Hartley, at least he can bring some depth to his character.  I almost wish he was Clark.. Lol.. And as always, great review Joe

maybe its the same writers Heroes had when they used Claires blood to heal Nathan Pertrelli? Does her blood only heal relatives? or everyones? Then SUDDENLY theres nothing more on that...Nathan dies..they cant use her blood to heal him again? wtf? Maybe Zod has the same Kryptonian blood type as Kal-el? do kryptonians have different blood types? I'm still wondering how the hell they gonna make him superman..when sooooooooo many people know who clark is...i dont think glasses is gonna do the trick..since now lois has seen him with and without glasses...there was an episode where he told her he needed glasses..and showed them to her..and we havent seen him wear those glasses since. i mean come'on..WTF man..WTF. but...all in all..i still love the show..been watching since season 1 episode 1..and will still watch till the end. Supermans been around for 50 years..thats a long time and alot of stories. He's always been my favorite..since i was a little tyke. (since before my sister samantha got abducted by aliens..*a hint to my screen name here* )

Just so we are all on the same page, here is the SMALLVILLE PLAYBOOK

1) Lois gets kidnapped by Villain

2) Lois gets knocked out by Villain

3)Super Clark enters the room just after Lois hits the floor unconcious

4) Clark throws Villain several feet into the air

5) Villain gets up, ready to attack, than has the  misfortune of slipping on a banana peel and somehow does himself in, climactic battle averted.

BTW, does anyone else agree that Callum Blue should have been chosen as the next DOCTOR?

I also knew that Zod would get his powers back the moment Clark dripped some blood.  Way too easy a plot device.  I rather liked the idea that the fortress could've healed him and made a mistake.. Clearly, there are better writers here than at the CW...

Callum Blue as the Doctor... Moz72, I'm warming up to that idea.. He certainly could do that dark stuff, which would be awesome.  Do you think he could do the light positive stuff we also usually see in the Doctor's character?  I think he would be more like Eccleston's portrayal of the Doctor.  VERY Interesting...

As an aside, was Blue ever in the running for the part?

This episode eh a weak C-... Callum Blue as the Doctor... whow nice idea, since the new guy is scaring me with trailers screaming, "Geronimo"... i hoped that was just a one-time deal at the end of David Tennant's stellar run.  Time will tell and i'll give him a chance... but Callum Blue would have owned that role.
