My response to this, who gives a rat's ass? I know I don't...Smallville sucks!

Superman Homepage is actually saying that a 10th season might be possible for Smallville.  Apparently, when they went through and had Allison Mack, Aaron Ashmore, and Erica Durance sign new contracts before season 8, they were required to sign for 2 years.  I think the hold-up on the 9th season announcement has been Tom Welling's contract status.  Basically, what Superman Homepage is saying is that because of the 2-year requirement that other cast members had, that Welling's contract probably includes a 10th season.

Is this a good or bad thing?  I guess we'll see how it plays out.  As long as Lana stays gone for good this time, I think it could be good.  Although I think it should be changed to Metropolis instead of Smallville at this point as well as just have him fly already!

at least the pretty fruitcake Tyrese version of Luke cage hasn't come to light yet, scary emphasis on the yet.

I wish they would grab Wesley Snipes and get Blade 4 minus Goyer. They need to bring Nomak back, awesome misunderstood anti hero.

fft, I think you may be on to something. I was washing a recent episode and the dude is definitely in great shape. A little bulking up may not be that hard for him. Plus he's early 30's which makes him old enough even though he appears to be 25.

I just checked out the Conan part...that sounds really cool.  Hollywood Liberals will screw this up.  They won't give it the budget it will need to pull most of it off and to bring in a wide audience they'll dumb it down to a PG-13 rating and make toys for the kiddies....I know, that sounds like the new Terminator movie.

Next year is Supernatural's last season, or so they said when the series started.  They had a five year storyline.  Therefore, next year will be Smallville's last and CW can use it to promote a new DC property.  I figure CW likes their Smallville/Supernatural block.

Hey hobbs, conservatives will probably hate  it too. Its not liberals who fuck things up. Didn't you pay any attention to the world from 2001 to 2008? Or were you too busy kissing rush limbuagh's ass?

I knew this would happen sooner than later. In my view Smallville rocks. Tom does a great job as Clark.

When this show does finish at least CW would be able to consider two possiblites for future series. I'm sure that one of them would be picked. It would be funny if both were considerd.

lol xenomorph, I was trying to get someone else worked up with that statement.  I don't think there are that many conservatives in Hollywood with any kind of power or where have you been for the last 50 years?  Don't worry as bad as it was from 2001 to 2008 your Messiah is starting to make it look like those were the glory years.

countzenith, I didn't know that Supernatural was only a 5 year run.  It didn't seem like it was a story geared for that.  They do have the big arcs but it never seemed like a story that would have an ending.

xenomorph 2/26/2009 9:34:59 AM

Hey hobbs, obama is not a messiah. It's not like he actually said things would get better overnight. This shit is going to take time to fix. And last I checked, wasn't it all of the conservative goveners who badmouthed the stimulus plan, but ten took the money anyway? You conservatives are a hypacritical bunch.
