I hope Tom Welling signs a contract to play Clark Kent in this upcoming episode season 9... If not

The Producers should do "The Graysons" series instead. The Boy Wonder (spin off) from Batman. Because, The Pilot should be coming out... Other spin offs from the Superman Mythology are SUPERGIRL and Laura Vandervoort discuss with the producers writing and producing the SUPERGIRL series on CW. I was hoping if Tom Welling did't get contacted on time to sign the contract to play Clark Kent. Laura Vandervoort will also be doing a SUPERGIRL series playing Kara Zor-El.

A Supergirl series shall be titled "KARA" I hope if anyone likes the idea

Check your history xeno, you don't get out of a depression by a making us the United Socialist of America.  The one argument being FDR but that's a debate because of WW2 at the time.  I don't know about Republican Goveners bad mouthing the bill and then taking the money.  The few I saw said they want to read the bill first before they make a decision...something the liberal nut jobs didn't do.  I think it was more bad mouthed on the hill than anywhere else.  I'm not a conservative...actually a traditional Dem (See JKF as an example of traditional DEM) who is trying to save my party from the Left wing nuts.  That's okay don't have to worry about it.  Your Grandchildren will someday but apparently that's okay to half the country.

Okay, done talking politics on this web site.  Sorry guys, I know how you hate it. I won't even respond to any negative replies.  Peace out!!

AdventureMan, I figured the CW waited so long to announce the 9th season because they were waiting on him.  I just assume since they announced it then it's a done deal.

BTW, The Graysons project was canned months ago.  No pilot, no nothing.  I have to say though I think that was a good choice by The CW.  In theory, a Dick Grayson spin-off series might sound good, but not when it would be a young Dick Grayson, pre-Batman, when he and his family were in the circus.  I just can't see any good stories coming from that, but I could be wrong.

Now a spin-off with the Proto-JLA with Green Arrow, Impulse (Flash), Cyborg, Black Canary, and Aquaman...I'd be down for that.  Tho, the chick who played Black Canary on Smallville just landed a role on Stargate: Voyager...errr...Universe, so she might be out of the mix now.

Well lets hope its better than lame ass talk, talk, talk, season 8, with an entire episode wasted on the stupid concept of super Lana! Didnt they promise us that since the might be the last season it was really going to start getting exciting? I always thought exciting meant exciting not boring.

Please let Smallville die.  Please kill it

@Smallville: I pretty much ignored the first five or six seasons since I wasn't really into another 90210 type show. But since the change (new writers or director maybe?) the series has actually gotten a lot better. IIRC the original controllers of the series vowed that the cape would never be seen because the series was about Clark, not Supes. Since they got rid of that idiot things have really taken off. One thing that is noce is they didn’t just have Clark pull an immediate 180 and ‘poof’ become Superman. Instead they have been writing his character closer and closer to toward it. The same for adjusting the rest of the cast. They are adjusting the other characters over this and last season. If things go well and they don’t choke (and this being Follywood I don’t intend to hold by breath on that one) the could easily fill this season and have him don the cape at the end of this season. Season 10 could be his initial screw ups and end with him stepping up and becoming Superman in spirit as well as appearance.

@Conan: I’d love to see Howard's Conan on the screen. But we will just have to wait and see.

I'm glad Smallville got picked up because this season has been rocking and getting into more with the DCU the only problem is Clark not wearing glasses, not flying and not wearing the suit. So looks like Tom just might be wearing the suit and flying too since it's gonna do another season. Because quite frankly he fucking needs to god damn it.

Chaaaange the fucking title of the Cap film to just Captain America.

Clark must fly in season 9.
