That was actually cool as hell, but I bet that scene that shows Clark supposedly flying is just a big tease and he`s actually just jumping upwards to the roof of The Daily Planet.

I was hoping becuase they switched producers they would move on put him in the suit and let him fly. I doubt there will be a gigantic battle but of course there will be some type of showdown between clark and davis.  I suspect the phantom zone or the the fortress will be used to hold dooms day.   I read the last epsisode of the season is called dooms day so expect davis to run wild and the ending will be ths show down.

clark could be jumping (they've pulled that on smallville before) or him "flying" could be part of the wish that zatanna grants him.

i agree with everyone though - since the producers who had the "no tights, no flights" rule are out, enough already (EIGHT FREAKIN SEASONS!!!!) and put him in the suit and let's see him FLY in THE suit. 

I don't know that it was just Milar and Gough who had the "no flights, no tights" rule.  It more likely was a mandate from WB and DC.

clark will be flying by next season, they need more than just 3 episodes to put him in the suit, and he has to actually stop being afraid to fly before he can don it.  since smallville is up for a 9th season i think we will see him in it next season. i think there will be a great fight between clark and doomsday and they said that one main charc, will die along with a minor char. i actually hope that its ckarj and doomsday.  then next season clark can come back but since the red and blue blur is dead he has to come back and that is when he will get the tights, lois will write something about we need a superman story or something and clark will then begin his legacy, of course ma kent has to come home and make the costume for him too you know. that is in the mythology too. so i think they will get it done we just have to give the writers time, they have to wrap up this season for us which has actually gotten better. so i think next season is going to be awesome, just hang in there, he will get in the suit. i just want him to start flying dammit lol. and yes i think he does fly next week but only cause of zatanna granting him the wish, as i mentioned earlier he has a fear of flying remember, zatanna probably takes away all his fearrs.

I really hope for the payoff fight with Doomsday for season/series? final.  But I know for money saving they have to drama it up overly and do a 5 min battle confined to a single area fight.  I think they need the entire planet to fight as Vegata would say.
